Got good airfare from NY -MCO!!!

Check out Southwest for some decent airfare. I am going April 12-19 leaving from Islip to MCO for $700 for 3 of us! So excited!!

I booked our Easter break w/ Song several months ago for 4/8-4/14 and got $165/pp out of LGA. Thought that was great, considering it's the week going into Easter.

Wow I was just going to post something about this. I usually dont fly southwest and I saw about the same prices for about the same time, but 2 days before that I saw it for $180 round trip and now its gone, I dont know if its totally gone or it will open up again. Hmm, I guess I should know, he who hesitates is lost. I dont mind flying laguardia but aa is so expensive around that time frame.

My daughter will have a heart attack we are not flying Jetblue (4 and spoiled!) but thats ok we will bring the dvd player. Plus we leave from Islip so that will be interesting.

Are you flexible with your dates at all? I just got an e-mail from southwest and WDW is the featured destination and I punched in similar dates 4-12 to 4/19 and it was $531 for 3 round trip tickets!

I don't know how flexible your trip may be but we just came back last week from WDW and we had amazing airfare rates with continental - $78 per person round trip from EWR to MCO

I see that! Does Southwest charge to change flights? hhhmmm...that would mean a day off from work

I guess it's all depends on what you're used to. The most I've spent the last few years is $125pp rt. Even the $79 each way sounds like too much to me. No way could I spend $700 for 3 people LOL.

Since I can only go when the schools are out, airfare is always a bit higher. I don't usually spend this much and I usually plan much further out but we decided we needed a trip...it is hard enough not to be using Jetblue! Besides airfare is so much more this year than it was last year at the same times.

Holidays, & Presidents Week, (when the kids are off from school) I usually pay about $175.00 to $200.00 round trip.

Last Nov 2005 for Jersey week, I found a fare nonstop from LGA to MCO with Delta Song for $110.00 round trip. I have never & I don't think I will ever find a fare as good as that. (except when we were bumped & got free tickets)

Why can't I find a good rate from MCO into JFK or LGA!!!!

We can get there ($79.00 song April 12) but we can't get back home.

The cheapest thing I can find (for time I want on April 22) is $229.00 each.

I looked into Southwest, but a car service from Brooklyn to Islip is unreal.

If I can't find a good rate in the next 4 weeks, surfweb: I'm going to have to book with Amtrak.

disneyjunkie - have you tried Newark? I know its farther away but if you have your own car you can park at Vista parking (a lot cheaper and easier than airport parking) for about $10 a day. I've seen flights going for low rates from EWR to MCO latelly, we only paid $78 round trip! Even with paying to park it was a lot better than the $200+ other people here are paying! Just a thought, hope you find something for a good deal

I just booked a DING fare yesterday for 4/29 to 5/8 from PHL to MCO for $34 down and $39 back. I got 4 tickets for a total of $368.40. I'm jumping for joy

WOO HOO..
I just happened to check DING again before heading to bed and just booked two tickets from ALB to MCO May 4-10 for $220 total...
$49 down and $44 coming back. I'll take it.
The best out of SYR is $225 per person and I got two for that price.
Just a two hour drive which does not bother me....

Was wondering if you had found airfare yet and this is a great one!

I booked something too for 5/28-6/5 but unfortunately not a ding--just their "sale" that was 94 pp, each way. But will hope for a better sale later and will be able to change to the lower rate. But I had a $70 credit so that helped.

Rarely see Dings from StL and can't load the software at all at work!

Oh well, I can live with it!
