Got Free DDP Pin 2013 now a question about AP

I can't believe it we got our first pin good for free dining 1/2 -3/7/13. I can't believe it we booked it Riverside with the free DDP 3/3 thru 5/8/13. We must be nuts cause we are leaving this Friday for a week at POP so we will be at the Food and Wine Fest in 5 days.
I got a question, we were thinking of upgrading our 7 day pass next week to an annual pass, now we purchased a 2 day pass (to get the free dining) for the trip in March, Can we just not use the 2 day passes (we will use the AP) and save the 2 day passes for a later date when our annual pass runs out or use the 2 day pass towards the purchase of the next annual pass???
We will use the AP again in Sept or Oct. to go to the 2013 F & W Fest.

Yes, you can. Unused tickets - the two-day tickets you'll need to get with/for the 2013 trip - don't start expiring until you use them for the first time.
