Got CRT with no problems!!

Just a heads up for you guys that haven't realized this yet. With the new policy 180 days out, not everyone knows about it yet! I called in the middle of the day and was able to choose the time I wanted for CRT breakfast in March. I've never gotten it before and was so excited to beat the crowd on this one! So for those of you who know you have a trip in the spring, you can jump ahead and book this now before everyone else realizes it!!

I'm guessing the huge price increase also has something to do with this?

I agree about the price increase having something to do with it too. I think it was too big of an increase. We definitely won't be going back.

Yes, it was simply amazing to call and get the info. I have no idea how I found this site, but thankfully I did. It will save a lot of times (and tears) before the March trip.

The price is a bit steep -- but birthday breakfast at the Castle will be priceless!!

Well, as I said, I've never gotten it before and didn't know the difference in the price really. I was just excited to get it, so the added price didn't matter.......

I know what you mean on not everyone knowing about it (180 days out). I was talking to one of the pharmacists where I work, whose daughter used to go to daycare with mine, about our upcoming WDW trip and she said that they are going the first week of March. I told her about being able to book 180 days out, and how we had all of our ADR's booked. I then proceeded to give report on the patient that I was transferring, and when I was done I realize that Kim was gone.

Later she came down to my unit to tell me that she got in to CRT and PSB with no problems, she was so thankful that I told her about the change.

I think that I have told 3 co-workers or friends about the extension of ADR's since they changed, of course after mine were booked.

I've been calling for reservations the last few days hoping that a few specific time slots open up. I noticed that yesterday morning the recording you hear when you first call in said 90 days in advance. This morning it definitely said 180 days - so I'm sure more people will start to realize the change.

I had talked to my son on Sunday and told him about the change to 180 days. We will be going (my 1st time with my DGD and DGS) in April. He Emailed me yesterday that they had gotten CRT for the April trip. I am so excited (and less than pleased about the cost for a breakfast - but I will do anything for my Grand Kids!). They were unable to get a PS at the 90 day window for their last trip.

I made my ADR's on Tuesday for most of my February trip. CRT was open completely for 2/13. After reading on the boards about the price increase and Cindy not making the rounds, we decided to switch to the Princess Storybook Lunch. We loved CRT last year but as long as my DS gets his princess fix it will be fine.

I was lucky and got CRT four times this year: for breakfast this past January and again in Sept and for lunch for my trip in Dec and also for this coming January. The day I read about the price increase I had to call Disney Dining anyway to check for a later Fantasmic pkg for our Dec trip, so made a point of verifying exactly when the price increase took effect. If it affected either my Dec or Jan ADRs I was planning on cancelling and told the CM this. He assured me the changes did not take effect until Feb and that Cindy would still be making rounds when we were there. He also told me alot of people had called complaining and several had also said they would cancel their ADRs if the changes took effect before then and that they wouldn't be back. I've been lucky and gotten CRT four times this year, but have no intention of even trying for it for my May or Nov '06 trips. I ate there in January with my eldest son and GD, in Sept with my younger son and D-I-L. I'll be there in Dec with my 73 y/o mom and there this January with my 9 y/o GD again. My GD is outgrowing the Princesses and the food is definitely not worth $30.00+. We won't be back and I think alot of other people feel the same way, so CRT should be much easier to get for the people willing to pay the price.
