Got BWV Pts with One Call!

FYI, I called my guide last week to inquire about the incentive and available points for BWV. Decided against more SSR points but there were 250 pts available in my use year (April). I grabbed 50 @ $92 on the spot! I should be all set for years to come!

It's not well publicized, especially by DVC itself, but with all the little add-ons here and there, I bet they do a pretty good business in selling points at the "sold-out" resorts.

Maybe that explains the seemingly nonsensical pattern to ROFR. DVC might want to always have a certain number of points at sold-out resorts in inventory. If it needs to replenish its inventory, it's more likely to exercise ROFR, and vice versa.

The only DVC resort where it seems points are not always immediately available is BCV, but I've never heard of anyone not being able to get points anywhere else.

Yes, 25 points is the minimum.

Thanks for the info, I called today and they had 360pts for my UY-April added 200Pts!! Best part I was given 05 pts!

What DVC properties are available and what is the going rate (and perks) from Disney?

All resorts, except SSR, are $92 per point. SSR is $98 per point, but with a special right now of 15% off with 120 points or more, and I think $8 off with purchase of 100 points.

My guide says that they usually have points available at all of the resorts except for BCV, but you can be put on a waiting list with a $500 credit card guarantee.

I just got this information last week from my guide.
