I just received a lot of pins I bought on Ebay. Stupidly, I didn't do any research on pin trading before buying them, or I'd maybe have seen that the seller is on the "bad" list. At least half of my pins are clearly scrappers/counterfeit (can't tell with the rest).

I don't really care if I get my money back; it just irks me that these people have such overwhelmingly positive feedback for selling fakes. I'd like to warn future buyers by leaving negative feedback (or at least neutral, if I can add an explanation as to why). But since I am new to Ebay (this was my first purchase), I'm not sure if it's ok to do that. Do you have to talk to the seller before leaving neutral or negative feedback?

I would talk with the seller first, if that experience is not positive talk with ebay customer service, and depending on how those experiences go decide how to leave feedback.

Unfortunately, lots of people unknowingly buy fakes, they've gotten very good at it. Try and contact the seller to work something out. If nothing comes of it, go to ebay themselves. I buy a fair amount of pins off eBay and have some sellers that I trust and only buy from them.

If you paid using paypal, they will have your back. Just file a claim through them or contact their customer service department.
