Got BLT at 7 Months!

We are so excited! We got BLT at 7 months out with no wait list. Any advice for staying at BLT? We are new to DVC - this is only our second trip - 1st trip was to our home resort - AKL. Thanks.

Make the most of the proximity to the MK! Enjoy the fireworks from the TOWL!

We don't own at BLT, have stayed there once, and enjoyed the amenities of the resort, but it was too cold for pool use. I've another 2 night stay with DSis there, again in January, and watching the fireworks from TOWL is what we're looking forward to the most. Also, we used the time to enjoy restaurants that were on the monorail, places we don't often get to. Kona Kafe for Breakfast was fun with the family.

BLT is our home resort, we had our first trip 'home' in June and were absolutely blown away by it. Strolling to and from MK, watching Wishes from the sofa and TOTW and hearing the toot of the first MK Railroad train of the morning were all special experiences. Make the most of the location it's fantastic!

We also got a 7 BLT month reservation for mid-late April, 1BR Lake View. Never got to post about it, but extremely excited. We did a short CR stay in July, and loved the location, but had some issues with the resort itself -- all issues that appear to not exist at BLT. Very much looking forward to it, congrats on your luck as well!!

To add... in terms of advice, as Bobbiwoz said, use the monorail for dining. Kona is great for breakfast and dinner. Contempo Cafe was much better than we expected for a quick breakfast and lunch. If you like water sports-type stuff (we don't), it seemed a lot of people were enjoying the CR marina activities, like parasailing. Not something people associate with a WDW trip.

Just got off the phone!! I got thorough right at 9AM and my call was that CM's first!!

I had a reservation for a Treehouse for three nights after our cruise. Now we are in a 2BR Dedicated Lake View exactly what I wanted and hoped we would get. I did try to get a 2BR Standard View either dedicated or lock off but none were available, figured it would not hurt to ask.

I think that BLT lake view is normally available at 7 months, except for high demand times such as Christmas season, etc.
