1. Take half the amount of clothing and wash! After hearing the horror stories about not getting washers, I have to say it all comes down to planning. My friend that traveled with us and I washed 3 times and NEVER had to wait for machines. We weren't going to wash at all but there were 5 of us and the dirty clothes were piling up!

2. Take an extension cord. It would have come in handy!

3. This applies to those with connecting rooms. Go to your local Dollar Tree and buy a pack of 3 rubber door stops for a dollar. These work great for propping the doors open. I only took one not thinking that there were 2 Connecting doors!

4. Go to the shows! They're super!

5. If you're doing a shore excursion that includes time in the water, don't forget to get a towel as you're leaving the ship. They have them there for you and you just return them as you're getting back on.

6. If you're doing the Sting Ray City tour, take time to feed them! Squid pieces were available. How many people do you know can say they fed a stingray!

7. About 11:00 pm at night, go up on deck 10 and ENJOY the solitude!

Thanks for the tips!

What time(s) did you find laundry room accessible?

Also, did you find that souvenir towels went on sale at the end of the cruise? (I know that "free" towels are available for use during the cruise)

I'll be so sad to come back after my cruise and find my trip counter blank!!!

Glad you had a great time!!!

The first time was when we got back from Key West. We, JMHO, found it to be crowded and conjested so we returned back to the ship about 3 in the afternoon.

The second time was just a catch up wash. We had the afternoon Stingray City Tour scheduled for Grand Cayman so we washed that morning.......Laundry room was empty!

Last time (remember I said that there were 5 of us! Two boys that changed with the wind!) was about 8 am the last day we were at sea. There were a couple other people washing but in the laundry on deck 7 there are 6 each washers and dryers. We never had to wait!

I did laundry on our cruise last year on the sea days only and I found that if I did it early to mid-afternoon there were washers available without a problem.

Nice tip about Deck 10 later at night!!!! Thanks. We leave in a few weeks!

Thanks for your tips...I'll be sure to bring some door stops for the doors connecting our rooms.
