Got a Wake Up Call From Stitch

We just returned yesterday from our one night stay at Pop and then 5 nights at AKV. I had read on these boards that Stitch was no longer on the wake up calls, just music. Well, in the morning at Pop, my husband answered the phone not knowing that Stitch was gone and he said "That's lame! All I heard was music!" I told him that I had read all we would be getting is music.
Our second night we switched to AKV and the next wake up call was also music. So imagine my surprise on our third morning when the wake up call was from Stitch! It was the same old recording we all loved to hate and I couldn't have been happier to hear it.
The last three mornings were back to the music recordings.
I don't know if anyone else has been getting random Stitch recordings, but I wanted to let everyone know he hasn't completely lost his job.

Thanks for sharing I happen to like having Stitch swake me up I just hope the music won't put me back to sleep but doubt it once the phone rings at this house sleeping is over for me.

I just got back from POP on Tuesday and I only had MUSIC playing on each of our wake-up calls. I even waited and waited thinking it might come after the music......but nothing. Oh well..........

I wish they'd bring the Mickey wake up calls back. Much better than Stitch or just music.

Thanks for the heads up. I will use my cell phone alarm. After using the wake-up call last year and having Stitch scream in my ears three mornings, I went to my cell phone. I don't even want to hear that once this trip.

I've noticed that if you listen to the music for a minute stitch and mickey usually come on. I think its kind of like an "on hold" for the wake up call until you answer. It happens sometimes when it seems like it might be a busy time for wake ups. I've never had the "on hold" music in the afternoon when I request a wake up after a nap.

what?!? oh man! i loved being woken up by stitch! well actually i hated it, but it was the part that you LOVE to hate i hope when we go we'll get a mystical "slip" of Stitch

Good question.

They used to have Mickey calls. It was one of the best parts of staying in a Disney hotel, IMO. They were a delight. Such a happy and pleasant way to wake up. I'd even put them on speaker for everyone to hear.
