But get this, no pin, and it was for the 7 days under 1500.00 USD deal. The one from early spring. It was real pretty and all, but they have already moved on to the free dinning deal.

So, yes Disney does send postcard adverts up to Canada now, but not with codes, and they are selling a deal that was started long ago.

But the kicker is that they say "1500.00 USD or under 2000.00 CAD" exchange rate as of 5/13/05. Up todate exchage rate, but old special. Wonder when they will send us a postcard for the free dinning deal, lol.

Was it a paper flyer that had Soarin', Lights Motors Action etc attractions on the front? My DBF got that one. No PIN code in there either. He seems those kinds of ads from Disney every few months. Nothing for me though. I guess because all of the reservations are in my name, they figure I'm a sure thing

That is the one, came in Mom's name. All our reservations are in my name as well, 4 times in the last 18 months. They know I am coming back again, and again and again, lol.

Doing my first solo for the Food and Wine fest this October, and just ordered my MNSSHP tix yesterday. I had to tell the CM that I could do Will Call, he said too far out from the event date, lol.

I have the same problem, the reservations are all in my name. However, there are the 2 trips I made last year with DisneyLisa and the reservations were in her name, so I'm now on her list. Maybe Disney won't cross-check and I'll get lucky!

LOL, I was so excited when I saw it, but the smile fled really quickly.

But as I searched for a code, the whole, "Can't send marketing/offers to Canada" line ran though my head real quick to. Now we know it isn't true!!!!!!!!! And the whole speal about the privacy act goes out the window as well!

Yes, I got one too. Was all excited when I opened my mail box and saw it sitting there. Then when I read it, it didn't give any codes. I thought it was one of those mass mailing things but then saw my name and address on it.
Oh well, I'm going to Disney in Sept regardless, but would be nice to get a little bit of a break. Hopefully the dollar will stay strong and not go down too much between now and then. I'm waiting until the weekend before we go to get out my US cash.

Sounds like a great trip Penny I think I gained a lot of weight last year by sampling food from all the different countries! I also loved MNSSHP too ... I think that was the first time I've been trick-or-treating in years

Went last year to MNSSHP and the F&W fest, but the people I was with, DM and Dfriend, didn't seem all that interested in the food booths. And they pooped out on the T or T as well.

Oh well, this year, there will be no one to stop me!

Get this. I finally got one too, but not in my name How often do you have to go before they start sending the cards to the right person. I've been in my home now for almost 3 years. Oh well, thankfully the person who lived here before shared the same interest in Disney.
