I got a post-card today. It does have a 14-digit pin code on teh back, but no rates are mentioned on the card, and there is no mention that the pin is needed for discounts. The card is advertising the "6 nights 7 days $2500 or less at a deluxe" package.

Is this just an ad for rack rate ? Or a real "discount rate card" ??

I don't know the answer but a free call to Disney will tell you. Yoiu might have a pleasant surprise. i called on a card we got today and am very pleased I did. Good luck to you.

Why don't you go to the disney web site and put in dates in the value season for WL or AKL (the two least expensive delux resorts) add base park tickets and see what you come up with. With that information you can then call CRO and ask about the code you have... you never know. This way you can compare the two rates and see if its rack or a discount.

I got an email for a moderate for 7 nights at a moderate $1800 for 4 people including tickets. I needed room only. So I called to see if they could possibly get me a discounted room only rate with that Pin#. But no. I guess I'll have to keep waiting.

:wave2: I believe.

I think you shoudl call back and speak to another CM. I have always been under the impression that these codes are interchangable on the reservation type.

Sunil,
I would just call Disney and ask. I got an email that said $84 a night for a value, I called and was given $79 a night for a moderate.

Called Disney - no discounts, just got a quote for rack rate. Oh well...

The Special Post card is for 2 adults, 1 jr and 1 child staying at DAKL or WL for 6 nights 7 days. It would only be for rack rate.

If you got a pin offer, then a discount would be applied :earboy2:

if it's a pin code you have to ask them to apply your code discount, they don't do it automatically, you might try again and make sure you give them the code and ask for the discount, sometimes they're not always available so check several dates and several different properties and let them know your looking for agood deal!! Good Luck!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
