A pin code was sent to me in my email but it was under my sister in laws name. The CM said that I can not use it since it was not in my name. Why would Disney do that? I checked all my information online and my name is attached to my email address like it should be so I do not understand.

Has anyone had this happen to them before? If so did you find a way to use the code?

The CM said the PIN code was the same promo that I already had but I wanted to see if I could use that PIN code at POR since I could not use the BPN code there.

Any help or hope?????

Thanks

Call and get another CM. I had this happen one year and the CM told me I could use it because it was attached to my address. They had my address but had my MIL's name since she was a guest on my package the previous trip to Disney. They said I could use it. But this was a post card mailed to my house. Does the PIN have any other thing besides your email attached to it like your address? Was your sister in law on a package with you previously.

Call back a few times and see if you get any different information. Maybe speak to a supervisor just to be sure. Good Luck

I'd keep calling. That happened to me once when another family member was sent the code at my home. They ended up giving it to me instead since I'm a regular and the person they sent it to wasn't going back

My e-mail said that I could share the e-mail with a friend...so I assume the code is transferrable....

I believe it was from Disney destinations, the email said it was from your disney travel planner but at the bottom it had Disney destinations contact information. There is no address attached to it at all, just sent like this:
her name<my email address>.

I am going to try and call today and see what happens. If you guys have any more advice for me please let me know.

Thanks

Add her name to your reservation? I guess if you have a package that wouldn't work though.

It happened to me once. They mailed me a pin with my brothers name and my address. I was told neither my brother nor I could use the code. Disney did nothing to make the situation better. Eventually a CM told me my brother should have been able to use it. He doesn't like Disney World so I don't even know why he got it. However I could not.

I wonder if you booked it along with your brothers name and then pulled him off the reservation at a later date, if that might work?
