Got a pin code for free dining!

I got a pin code for free dining. We booked at CBR for 10-24 to 10/31 the total for the 4 of us was 2042.00. I'm doing the happy dance.

Yes I just got it today. The only problem is it came in my Dad's name and he has never lived here. I did get one earlier in my name but it went to my parents house very odd. But they let me use it no problem.

After what seems like an eternal wait, I finally got my free dining pin today for our trip in Nov! My only disappointment (I know I shouldn't complain!) is that it is the basic plan and not QSP even though we will be in a value resort. I really wanted to do the QSP this year since last year (when we had VISA free dining) I didn't like having to go to all the sit down restaurants. I am hoping that maybe I can get the conceirge to exchange at least one CS for a TS.

My pin was definitely tied to a saved trip on the Disney site because it specifically mentioned that I had looked into accommodations in Nov on the Disney stie but had not yet booked. I did this a few weeks ago after it was mentioned on these boards as a way to possibly get a pin. So anyone who is looking for a code may want to try that. Good luck everyone!

My mom received the pin code that saved us $$$$$$$$-it is for free dining over Thanksgiving
my mom is NEVER on the computer and we have always booked rooms in our names. We were going to stay off-site in November so this pin code was very magical!!!!!!

I used the free dining pin also, just trying to figure out price here, you're going for 7 night right? We have 2 adult 2 children, 7 nights POFQ and our total was 2240? Are you not including the $200 deposit?

Don't they usually offer the exchange of 2 CS for 1 TS on the dining plan. I haven't done it, but I know I've seen that offered. Now you still won't get the extra snacks that are on the QSP, but you can exchange the meals.

Just received this one AGAIN for Free dining during Sept - Dec. This is the same Pin they emailed me back in June.

So keep your fingers crossed everyone, I am sure they are still trying to fill those rooms!!!

I just wish we would get a pin for a discounted room instead of the free dining, that would work so much better for my family.

Don't they usually offer the exchange of 2 CS for 1 TS on the dining plan. I haven't done it, but I know I've seen that offered. Now you still won't get the extra snacks that are on the QSP, but you can exchange the meals.

I actually would like to go the other way - trade TS for QS - which I don't think they normally allow (except during public FD). I have read on the boards though that maybe the concierge may be able to do it for one meal. I did spend the last couple of days looking at TS restaurants and now, if I can get what I want at my 90 day mark, I think we will be ok with the regular DDP. We just didn't like having to be at a certain place at a particular time. But it is free (I know, not completely free since you have to pay rack rates), and hopefully I can plan alittle better this time and not much it such an inconvenience. Thanks for your help.

I received it via email this morning as well, and it came to both me and my dh! Here are the dates in the email:

For stays most nights 8/27/09-9/21/09, 9/29/09-10/1/09 and 11/29/09-12/17/09

We're already going in August, so won't be using this one. Hopefully we'll see some good deals next April or May; we'd like to go in the spring sometime.

It pretty much extends free dining until mid-Dec. and you can book until 10/3.

To answer a few questions on price. I have one infant in the mix. We also didn't get the hoppers or water park. We already have tons of water park passes and we never hop.

Got the same discount today!! I had inquired about rates too for this fall but we are pushing our trip back until Jan. Hoping for another code for Jan/Feb! I really need a discount pin for the winter and here's hoping for one that is 40% off . We dont use the dining plan with our little picky eaters (4 and 1). I just cant believe I will have such luck. This has been my third pin in 4 months that we didnt use
