Got a pin code- but it's the same as the general public code

Did anyone else get this "special offer" email with the pictures of suitcases? they are offering free waterpark and park hopper upgrades between 4/15-6/2. Isn't this the same as the general public code that has been out for a while? Why would I need the pin code? Anybody could book it. I don't feel special! I really wanted one that said "40% off room rates for you through all of June"!

Have you gotten a quote with it? When the free upgrades were offered in the past (not this current spring one) they included a little extra discount that we couldnt account for (somewhere in between being rack rate and the aaa discount). If you are interested in it, you might want to get a quote and see.
