Got a call from my guide about OKW addon but had to say no.

We got on the call list last May for a small OKW addon. We decided to go ahead and do a small BCV addon instead of waiting and to ensure staying at BCV every 3 years. Today my guide called and my name had come up on the waitlist. I had to say no but I hope someone else waiting gets the call. We have an April use year.

The same thing happened to us. We were itching to add on so we added on at HH and then got the call about OKW. I'm sure someone else will benefit from our "pass."

We have been on the OKW wait list for a June use year add-on since the first of the year. No call yet, but we have decided to rent my BIL's points from him for the next 2 years since they are expecting a 3rd child and decided they didn't want to go to WDW for a while with 2 infants at home. So, we'll probably get that call at a time when we are overloaded with points, hmmm, wonder what we'll do then?

Hey, I've found some people who can share my pain at having to turn down an OKW add-on that I REALLY REALLY wanted. I REALLY did want that add-on <sob> but felt that the economic turn-down was not good for adding debt in order to get that add-on. It was a Feb use year too. They even put me up to the top of the list on Feb--well, no one else was listed for Feb, while there were 25 waiting in March. <Sob> I used the down payment to pay off the add-on that I got last year.

Same here! We said no when we got the call.

Early last month we got the call...396 June OKW points. It's what we wanted but we would not pay $84.00 per point. Too bad Magical Beginings was not offered at the sold out resorts, it might have made a difference for us. The average price per point we've spent is considerably less than this and we just couldn't justify that price. We asked to go back on the waiting list. In the meantime we'll keep looking for a resale.

Sooner or later you will get your chance. I don't know how many people are on the list, but I can tell you we've been on the June OKW list for over a year. Since January or February 2002. Good luck at finding the add-on you want.
