Got a Bounceback offer in my room at the Poly

Not a dumb question:)
Villas ARE the DVC locations...villas are studios....(1 queen, sofa sleeper, kitchenette, balcony..OKW has 2 beds, no sofa sleeper) 1 BDR will give you a full kitchen, wahser and dryer, king in master, and a sofa sleeper....2 BDR...and extra bedroom with 2 queens (dedicated) and 1 queen and a sofa sleeper.

We were jsut in a 2 bdr at OKW...felt like home, biggest 2 bdr in all of DVC villas. The BB offer was for dates through Dec....I think I may have listed them on this thread earlier:) However, who knows when you are there!!
You could probably enjoy a 1 bdr......and DH would be able to sleep why you guys head out to the parks:)

Good luck and have fun!

*Changed my WL Bb offer to CBR....104 a night and 115 for water view...a deal!

Thanks for the replies!!! Another question. DD and I are going to POFQ in October and I'm hoping for a bounce back offer....might I get one for NEXT fall? 2009? DD will always have a little fall break and that is going to be our annual girls trip and I'd love to try a DVC with a great discount? Do BBs extend that far out?

Right now the current BB offer is only available for travel through 12/13/08 and the availability is very limited. Now that is not saying that there will not be a BB for dates into 09 this Fall, but you never know with Disney.
Keep checking this board, because if a new offer/dates become available, people here will be talking about it.;)

Hello, new member here..was reading about the bounceback offers you guys have gotten.
Last Sept we were there and they had a bounceback offer in our room that we did not take advantage of :furious: do they normally offer these, and if you are using the bounceback offer that is in the room, can you also take advantage of the free dining when they offer that too?
thanks for the imput.

Welcome to the DIS.
You can only use one discount or the other, in other words, no stacking of discounts. The free dining discount is only available when you are paying rack rate for the room.

The current bounceback offer has been running since last Fall with the Nov. Dec. dates being added in Feb/March.

They have offered a BB free dining discount for the last 2 years (Fall 06 and Fall 07).

Thanks Mickdeb
so which would you say is the better offer, the bouceback at the resorts or the freedining....

It definately depends on your party size and type of resort. A small family in a deluxe would most likely be the better deal. There are alot of factors to consider. Do you typically eat at TS everyday of your trip or just a few? Do you typically stay at a value or a deluxe? What are the ages of the children (if any) in your party? I know some folks don't like the DP as much since the appetizers and gratuity are no longer included.

This is a chart somewhere on this board that does a comparison between room discounts and free dining. I am sure someone can come up with the link.;)

Hope this helps.

Our party size is usually 2 (my fiance' and myself) this is the first year we are taking his niece and are staying at a moderate. We have stayed in the value the past two years, because we are hardly in the room. But we were talking and after this trip in sept it would be nice just to "relax"at disney. :rotfl2: And i saw that alot of people on here got the bounce back to a villa or deluxe resort. and I was thinking that would be so nice.
we usually eat at the resturants at night.

Just wanted to jump in and say that even if you don't have a flyer in your room, you can get the discount. The number usually runs on the resort TV on the daily tips channel (the one that plays "Jolly Holiday" musak and does a slide show of things like park hours and such).

Also on free dining vs bounceback, free dining is generally the best deal if you are staying at a value resort. Dining is $38/day for adults, and the savings of $38 is more than what you'd save using bounceback at values. For deluxes though, 30% is a pretty big savings, like $100 or more in some cases, which is a better deal than the $76 you save for 2 adults. But it does make sense to do the math for your particular party size and room type.

But you should always book the bounceback when you're there, because it gives you the option. You can always cancel without penalty later as long as it's before the cancel deadline, which I think is only 24 hours for a room reservation.

Man I'm hoping that a good BB is being offered when we are there in October......I really, really, really would love one for Oct 2009 :cool1:

I received the bounceback and booked it when I returned home even though it indicated on the back it should be done before check out. I got a great rate at the Yacht Club. I think I paid $255 with tax per night.
