So, I redeemed my swagbucks for an e-gift card to the Disneyshopping.com website...little did I know that I couldn't buy a "real" gift card with my "e-gift card". So, now I have an e-gift card and I don't know what to buy with it....any suggestions?

Whether or not you can use an e-GC to buy a regular GC has been a hot topic in the past! Some say you can, most say you can't. It comes up b/c coinstar lets you get an e-certificate to disneyshopping for no fee (unlike if you choose cash as how you get paid).


I've used extra on disney GCs to buy pre-trip souvenirs if they are in the outlet or on sale. Bought bathing suits for me and DS once. etc etc. You do have to watch out for their shipping rates, but they often have "buy x get free shipping, or $5 shipping" deals.

Two words. . .Halloween costumes! My kids always loved their costumes from the Disney Store. The quality is usually much better than other costumes and they wear like iron. It's even better to wait until after Halloween when they are on clearance. I bought my youngest a Dory costume for something nuts like $6. I swear. . .she was Dory for about 4 Halloweens! She would also play dress-up with it all the time. . .especially at that age when they want to dress and undress all the time. It still looks like new. Here's a pic of her in it:
