Okay so here's the deal, I'm going to be vlogging with my GoPro when I go on my cruise and I want to take the camera down the slides (on the Wonder & at Castaway Cay) with me.
I read that they have to be attatched to you somehow, however I called DCL and the man on the phone told me that cameras are not permitted on the slides because they can scratch the slides? He sounded really unsure of himself, plus you can see GoPro videos on YouTube of the slides anyways so...?

I guess my questions are, can you take GoPros down the slides on the Wonder & at Castaway Cay?
& If so, what guidelines are there to doing that? Like what attachments can you have? I really want a shoulder strap where it kinda just sits nicely on your shoulder but I'm not sure if that will pass.

Thanks in Advance! :wave2:

Many of the videos posted were done when the AquaDuck was new, and policies have changed since then.

Last I knew of, as long as the camera is fastened to your body (chest or head) you can do it. But you can't use a hand-held camera on it.

One note, many of the CMs who answer the phones don't know the answers about how things really work onboard, indeed, many of them have never even been on the ships. They are primarily reading from pre-determined scripts.

As of March 2015 my sister in law was able to use the head harness on the Aquaduck.

It has to be secured to your body. We went in June and that was the rule on the Aquaduck. I had the gopro wrist mount and that worked just fine.

Chest strap or head mount is preferred. Some CMs will allow the wrist mount where some won't.

We cruised in April and I used a Wii wrist leash for my Gopro and no one said anything.
