Goose down question

I am considering buying the dd a down throw for Christmas. I know absolutely nothing about this product. Here in Florida, we don't have much occasion to use one. But, she mentioned in passing that she would love to have one. Is there anything in particular I need to look for? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've never seen a goose down throw, just comforters, but I guess it would be about the same thing. They should come in different weights. If your dd is in Florida with you, you'll obviously want the lightest one so that it won't be too hot. If it's plain white, you'll also need a cover to go over it. It will protect it for much longer, and you can replace the cover as needed.
