Google's graphic 1/4/10 - LOL

There is an entire team at Google that works on nothing but the home page graphics, knows as Google doodles.

Try leaving the search box blank and clicking I'm feeling lucky.

I like it too!

I liked a while back (about 2 months ago) when they did one muppet character each day and then finally had them all together. It was very cute. It was to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Sesame Street.

Love it! Thanks for the head-up. I just posted it on my FB page!

It's cute but it looks like a cherry falling off the vine??? Or am I missing it completely?????

Love it!

I love trying to figure out how the doodles relate to the particular day they are published. This one was great. Thanks for the heads up.

And Firedancer- thanks for the heads up on the blank "I'm feeling lucky". That was cute too.

Help me here....not getting it.

Cut me a break, I haven't had to do much thinking for a week and a half.
Today is the birthday of a very famous scientist, some claim the best ever. He was responsible for the theory of gravitation, the discovery of calculus, theory of color, among many other valuable scientific discoveries.

Folklore has it that his theory of gravitation was based on first watching an apple drop.

Happy Birthday Sir Isaac. Although DS, who just finished a grueling class in calc 3 probably wishes that was one discovery he never made. :goodvibes

Any time you want to know what the Google Doodle is all you've got to do is click on it. It'll take you right to a search page with everything you need to know.

I don't know if it's always set up that way, but it also displayed "Birthday of Sir Isaac Newton" when I moused over the graphic as well. I usually "get" what they're supposed to reference, so I'd never tried this before.

Or simply hover your mouse over the graphic if you just want to know & don't actually want the search results.

I often think Google would be a great place to work at. I like how they think.

Oh I got an email with pics of Google's HQ a few weeks ago. If what was in the pics is real then it has to be the coolest place on the planet to work. Sadly I'm not even remotely qualified to work there:rotfl:

Thanks FireDancer, I never would have thought to do that ;) It is so awesome :woohoo:
