is my friend. :surfweb:

Google is my friend. :surfweb: :thumbsup2

Google is my friend. . . just REPEATING, for those who didn't get it in the other TWO threads. :surfweb: :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2: :goodvibes

Imzadi is referencing two threads that point out DISers apparent lack of awareness of (how's that for PC ;)) of the Search feature here on the DIS.

Simply Google: Disboards [subject]

Has anyone here ever used Google before?
What is the best time to use Google?
Has anyone ever Googled while pregnant?
Will my kids like Google?
How should I phrase my Google inquiry?
I feel I've been cheated by Google, how do I get them to compensate me?

I'm punchy from lack of sleep.

Thanks Robinrs! I did not know I could google using the Disboards subject. I do try and use the search engine. But I see what you mean about repetitive questions...what is your favorite bag?

Google is my home page! That's how much I use it. :rotfl2:

Seriously, I can't live without google.

And Google will even tell you what the weather & temperature is in any neck of the woods you want to know about. ;)

Pointing out that the Onion is a parody news site. Too many people think its real & take it seriously. ;)

I use iGoogle as my home page.

While The Onion is a parody site Google keeps data the longest of all the major search providers. If anyone is paranoid about the data that is kept Yahoo has the shortest data retention of the major engines. They will start using the Bing back end (read:algorithm) at some point after their search deal but that shouldn't change their data retention parameters. Of course until they confirm this no one can say for sure.

I live in the Google world a lot and they have a lot of my info so obviously I am not too worried about it...yet.

And Google will even tell you what the weather & temperature is in any neck of the woods you want to know about.

No kidding, a perfect example of something better left to the Google and the Interwebs. I prefer Intellicast for my weather.
