My wife and I are looking to put our pictures on Google drive, but I was curious if there are ever any deals on this. Also if there are any other options that might be as good with a lower price tag. Thanks in advance for any information.

Google photos is free. Is that low enough?
Check the current resolution limits. You can't upload raw.

If you buy a Pixel 3, you get free unlimited storage with full-size photos (no resolution limits) until 2022.

But buying a phone to get free storage may be a bit extreme :)

Google photos allows an unlimited number of photos for free, but the resolution is limited to 16MP. If you have photos with a resolution greater than that, you will probably need to buy more Google Drive space. If it's just a few photos here and there, your free Google Drive storage (15GB) will probably cover it, but if it's a lot of pictures then you will quickly run out of space. But I find extra Google Drive space a good deal - I currently pay $2.99/month for 200GB. I use Google Drive for lots of things in addition to photos - I like that I can access everything from all of my devices. Once you start using it, it's a bit addictive LOL

Thanks for the advice. I would most likely have more then 15 GB but I can start there and pay for it later when needed I guess.
