For the conversion from Mulholland Madness into Goofy's Sky School, are they just retheming the ride and keeping the track? Or will the ride be completely different?

As an aside, I looked it up on Wikipedia and found this hilarious:

The track includes several sharp turns and sudden drops that small children and mothers may find uncomfortable.

I'm a mother....I guess that's why I HATE the ride.

mothers :rotfl2:
wikipedia's "information" is pretty funny at times.
& yes, i think it's just a re-theme, same track.

Thanks for the replies.

That's a shame...I was really hoping they'd completely overhaul it. I guess older kids and dads will have to brave it alone!

:lmao: I'm a mother & hate it too. Go figure, now we know why.

It doesn't scare me, but I felt like I needed a week of traction after riding it. Never *ever* again.

I'm a mother, and I hate riding that thing with my son. I feel like he's going to just go flying out. He LOVES it though. We switched sides (now he sits on my right) and that felt better to me.

I'm hoping once it's re-themed they'll have more of a door and it will feel better to me. Because I'm sure he'll want to go on it even MORE, once it has Goofy involved!

We thought it was really really lame and poorly done. That being said, I think it's be much better rethemed as Rattatoulle, with mouse shaped cars and the idea being you're running from the chef. Then all the sharp turns and drops would make sense. Not sure what they're doing to make it Goofy's...

What about fathers? DH hates that ride, and he'll usually ride most anything. Ever since our younger DS turned 7, we don't have to ride anymore; the two boys love to ride it together and wave down to us below.
