Goofy's Sky School Refurbishment

Does anyone know when this is supposed to re-open? We were there the last weekend in September and it was closed then and it is still under the closed for refurbishments. We will be there starting 12/6.

It seems to be listed as closed at least through 12/20. I don't know if there's an official re-opening date, I just know we will be there the same time as you and we are expecting it to be closed.

I think it is being completely re-themed and won't open back up until Pixar Pier is complete.

I don't remember seeing that Goofy's Sky School was getting re-themed when they announced the other rides, although I admit I wasn't paying close attention so maybe I missed it. But it seems weird that it would take them so much longer to theme Goofy's than it will for them to re-theme California Screamin or the Fun Wheel (which aren't closing until January, I believe). I had just assumed the ride was getting a major mechanical refurb.

ETA: It occurred to me after posting that it might not be that GSS will take longer to theme, but that they're staggering it so it will open in Spring as opposed to Summer for the other rides. I'd be interested to hear if anyone knows for sure.

We are planning on being at the parks 12/21 and 12/22, and I see Goofy's Sky School is being listed as open during our park hours. When I checked the Wednesday before (12/20) it was still being shown as closed for refurbishment... so maybe it opens on the 21st of December? Or maybe it's just a glitch.

Goofy's Sky School isn't part of Paradise Pier, it will be part of the "new land" of Paradise Park that is basically the part of the pier that is being left a lone.

Touring plans refurb schedule is showing 'unknown' for reopening date:

When we were there last week a CM said the 20th or 21st of December.
