Goofy's Kitchen Thanksgiving Dinner

Has anyone done this that could give a quick review? I have our group booked for Goofy's for Thanksgiving dinner and I've read some mixed reviews of the food at Goofy's so now I'm second guessing myself. I had wanted characters at dinner, but didn't want to pay as much as the DLH Thanksgiving so, at the time, this seemed like a good compromise. Will it be okay or should I try to see if I can find something else at the last minute?

If you want characters, you got the cheaper of the 2 places that will have them. Goofy's has a variety of food that will meet just about everyone's taste. The quality won't be what you find at the Royal Buffet, but it is decent. We always find the Royal Buffet well worth the difference in price. I think you will have a hard time finding another place at this late date.

Thanks! I'm sure the DLH buffet is good, but it is more than I want to spend. I've seen some cancellations come in for other places, so changing isn't impossible if Goofy's doesn't have good food. Have you had the Goofy's Thanksgiving or are you basing that on your experience of Goofy's at other times?

I haven't done the Thanksgiving meal at Goofy's in probably 10 years. Basing it on other meals.

The meals we had on Thanksgiving were good, and the turkey was good. We have enjoyed Goofy's dinner many times. Depending on how long the food is sitting can result in cold or off tastes, but for the most part it is a very basic, but good buffet. You will encounter the 5 main characters, as they have dropped the number of characters at this location.

We stopped doing Thanksgiving at Goofy's when we started going to the Royal Feast.

That's good feedback. Hopefully Thanksgiving is busy enough that the food doesn't sit too long.
