Goofys Kitchen/Storytellers Cafe

We check in to the GCH the Thursday before labor day and check out on labor day to drive down to San Diego. My question is- should I make dining reservations for our 1st night at Goofys or Storytellers for dinner? And then on labor day when we check out, breakfast at goofys or storytellers? Keep in mind we are staying at GCH and I def want to try both. Which is a better choice for dinner? And which for breakfast? TIA!

Storytellers is a non-character meal at night, so it's just menu orders and (sometimes) a small buffet (during busy seasons or on weekends, and since you'll be there over Labor Day I think they will have a buffet). Goofy's has the huge buffet with tons of choices.

My suggestion would be to do Storytellers for dinner (I like it as a regular restaurant but not a character meal), and Goofy's for breakfast. The Goofy's breakfast is cheaper than the Goofy's dinner, and I greatly prefer it over the dinner. I love the breakfast. The breakfast is great, and it would be a great, lively, fun way to end your trip.

Oh, okay! I thought you knew! Well, I guess it makes your decision easy. If you want to try Storytellers as a character meal, then it would have to be breakfast. And since Goofy's is a character meal for dinner as well as breakfast, you can do Goofy's for dinner.

No I will take your advice and stick with GK for breakfast. I don't care if ST is non character for dinner. Also considering Ralph Brennans Jazz for first night dinner....
