Is Goofy's Kitchen a character meal at supper? I've read some reviews, but they are mostly for breakfast. Our son will have his bday there if its worth it. Any thoughts? Also, we're looking at other restaurants...what are some favorites, counter, table and character??

Yes it is a character meal for dinner too. Check allears.net for the menu.

Yes it is ~ we've had dinner there twice now most recently Mon. 12/7 ~ good food, expensive though ~ $10X.XX (I don't remember for sure) for 2 A & 2 K, that's after the AP discount. We visited with Pluto, Goofy, Alice, White Rabbit, Brer Fox, Minnie and maybe some others I'll have to ask the kids/look at pictures.

Yes, it is. Besides Ariel's Grotto Goofy's Kitchen is the only character meal at supper. So if you want the birthday meal for supper it is pretty much your only option unless your son likes princesses.

We love it there, it's the favorite character meal of my group. Goofy dances and plays a little game banging on pots and pans with the kids about every 30minutes.

Is it worth it... that's hard to judge. It's quite loud due to the games, not every kid likes that. If he's more shy I'd go for breakfast at Storyteller's Cafe instead. For me being a character maniac most definitely yes, it is worth the money. Even my friends who are not into characters like it because the food is really good. They recommend the Prime Rib and the Blueberry Cobbler. It is one of the more expensive meals though.

The characters at the meal are Goofy, Pluto and Chip & Dale (those seem to be always there) plus assorted guest stars. We've seen Minnie, Alice, Sleeping Beauty, Jasmine, Mulan, Baloo, Aladdin and Gepetto for example.

My second favorite is a tie between Storytellers and Lilo & Stitch breakfast. Lilo & Stitch is now Mickey's Surf Up breakfast, so I can't really comment on this anymore as I went before the change. Storytellers is probably as laid back as Goofy is not.

For table service restaurant our favorite is Cafe Orleans if you're not looking for anything too fancy. Carnation Cafe is also quite popular on here.

My favorite for counter service is Taste Pilots Grill. I loved the Blue Yonder Burger, and my friend can't get enough of the fries. The portion of fries is so big, it easily serves two.

Have to agree with poster about GK. Never had a bad or mediocre meal at GK and have always had many opportunities with the characters. My DGF and I went once without the kids and we were constantly being approached by the characters.

We ate there on 12/5 for the first time. The selections of meats were good, the sides were yummy as well. The desserts were lacking but everything else was great. We saw a lot of characters only a few came by our table since we just two adults, but overall a great dinner.

We ate at GK on Dec 14th.

It was great. We saw - Pluto, Goofy, Minnie, Penguin, Baloo, Alice, Snow White. The interaction was great too - some characters even made it around twice - I will remember this meal because as Baloo was leaving our table my 3 year old made a pretend belching sound at him, Baloo turned back to my DS and belched - a real belch - not something I would normally encourage, but it was hilarious, we were all laughing so hard.

The food was fantastic and the service was also good.
