Goofy's Kitchen for lunch

We are considering going over to Goofy's kitchen for lunch...we will be in Disneyland in early morning and then thinking of walking over to DLH for this. We are going early May. How far is the walk from the park over to the DLH. is late morning or early afternoon better for this character meal? Thanks!

The walk from the turnstiles to the restaurant is around 15 minutes. You could also take the monorail from Tomrrowland in Disneyland to its stop in Downtown Disney, which is about 2-3 minutes from the DLH/Goofy's. As for the time, I would say either one is fine, it just depends on when you think your family will be the hungriest. Its a lot of food so you want to arrive hungry! Goofy's used to close around 2:00 for a couple of hours, don't know if thats the case still or not. They could tell you that when you make your priority seating. We love Goofy's, great food and characters each of the ten or more times we have been there.
