I know several people eat at Goofys kitchen for dinner but we have only eaten there for breakfast. So my question is what kind of food is served for dinner? We are trying to decide if we should take our grandkids to dinner there. Thank you in advance for your help!

You'll love DL at Christmas. Make sure to take the grandkids over to Santa's Reindeer Roundup to see the reindeer and decorate cookies. They can also see Santa. Have a great trip! :santa:

YOU WILL LOVE DL AT CHRISTMAS TIME!!!!!! Goofy's kitchen is always our first night's meal. We love it! Great character interaction and the food is really, really good. Don't forget they offer a AAA discount. AND tell them about your grandkid's birthday. They will bring out special cupcakes and sing to them. DH love's that he can get a beer AND great Prime Rib.

we take our kids each trip for dinner - we started doing this as a way for them to see characters without the theme park queuing etc, but we also found the food range and quality suited us. They serve a reasonable number of kid friendly vegetables, and have a good selection of salads for adults - we travel with one vegetarian. Not being American, we often find restaurant servings very large, (it's nice to be generous though!) and sometimes a little heavy on the fries etc (easier to resist if they're not there!):rolleyes1

Having said that though, it is now traditional for my oldest daughter to have the peanut butter and jelly pizza, and for my youngest to create a stunning if unconquerable dessert plate.

Ariel's Grotto also takes AAA. When you make your ressies ask Disney Dining which other places take AAA as I know it changes sometimes.

I actually read on this board that all the character meals take AAA. I know for sure Goofy's does, it certainly cannot hurt to ask at other character meals. And we love Goofy's for dinner, we have been around 10 times and always had great food and character interraction. We cannot go there while at Dinseyland! OP have a great trip to DL!:)

Wow. More folks from Arizona. I love it.... We shall have to try Goofy's kitchen as well. Where is it? I presume we need a ressie? Thrilled they take AAA as well. You guys are great . Thanks so much.

We also love Goofy's Kitchen. It is pricey but by the time you buy appetizers, entree, drinks, and desert at any other restraunt in Downtown Disney the price is about the same for us.

I am trying right now to book my son's 3rd birthday party at Goofy's. He will be beyond thrilled. It will even be the actual night of his birthday. January
7th can't get here soon enough for me.:cool1:

January 7th is my DBF's birthday too!! We will be there that weekend but probably not eating at Goofy's. lol I'm sure my guy would prefer Yamabuki's, which reminds me.....I need to call DD today at lunchtime. :) Happy birthday to your DS!! I hope he has a great time.

We ate at Goofy's for breakfast and enjoyed it. I'm sure that no matter what meal you chose to eat there you will have a GREAT time.

Goofy's is in the Disneyland Hotel. From Disneyland, just walk down Downtown Disney, it will literally dead end at the DLH. Its just past the pool area, you can't miss it. And yes, make a reservation, they make "Priority Seatings" up to 60 days in advance. Call 714-781-DINE (3463). Have a great trip and enjoy your planning! Incidentally you can make advance seating arrangements at most of the DTD restaurants (Rainforest Cafe is the exception) as well as any full service restaurants in the parks or hotels at that number.

The regular buffet was quite good and I was really impressed by their kid oriented buffet as well. One of our "kid at heart" companions made serious inroads into the peanutbutter and jelly pizza. :rotfl2:

I can't wait for Goofys Kitchen!! That is where we are eating dinner on Christmas eve!!

Can someone share how much an adult buffet meal is? Online, I see a price of $30.00 and a price of $37.00. :confused3
