Well I said when we got back that I would do up a review of the Goofy's Kitchen dinner, and here it is, no pics though cause I just don't take pictures of food, not my thing.
We ate at Goofy's at 6:00 pm on Monday, Sept 6th.
When we went to be seated Pluto was not around so we were seated without having a picture taken (not a huge deal). The place a packed (not surprising) just like it is at brunch.
The food was absolutely TERRIBLE. We have done brunch many, many times, in fact we had brunch at Goofy's on Friday, Sept 10th and it was fab. But dinner blech...
All of the supposedly "hot" food stations were barely warm. The salads were no different than those offered at brunch. The pizza stations were all the same as Brunch. They had macaroni and cheese, plain noodles, with butter, turkey meatballs, all of which were barely warm. They also had "popcorn" type shrimp instead of the chicken nuggets they have at brunch, the nuggets are better.
The "prime rib" which is actually some sort of carved New York strip thing (they call it) was so undercooked it could have still been moving, they also had lamb which was cooked horribly. There was some sort of fish, the chef's special which was really just the fixings for a soft taco (chicken, bell peppers, etc.) there was also some sort of vegetable and potato.
The dessert offerings were the same as at brunch.
DH and I tried to sample a bit of everything and it was all awful.
We will never, ever have dinner at Goofy's again.
Also, I should add that the characters that were at Goofy's for dinner that day were also at brunch a few days later.
If you're keen on eating with the characters I would highly recommend brunch at Goofy's, much, much better and a better value for your dollar.
