Goofy's Kitchen characters

Okay, so I have one daughter who wants to go to Goofy's Kitchen and another who really wants to go back to Ariel's Grotto for the princesses. I've seen on here that some people have spotted a princess at Goofy's Kitchen...is this the norm? We haven't ever been to Goofy's Kitchen so I'm not sure which characters are "usually" there. Also, is there a better time of day to find a princess or two at Goofy's Kitchen? We'll only be in there one day this time so we don't want to stand in the loooooooooooong PFF lines and upgrading to hopper tickets just for AG just doesn't seem ideal. TIA!

The last few times we have been to Goofy's for breakfast, there have been at least 2 Princesses there. I actually think they are making an effort to keep Princesses around to offer an alternative to those who don't want to go to Ariel's Grotto, for whatever reason. I don't know who is 'working the room' at dinner because we always go for breakfast, but let me run down the last few breakfasts, if I can remember off the top of my head:

This past December 2009, the characters we 'met' at Goofy's were Max, Goofy, Chip, Dale, Mulan and Belle, while Pluto and a third Princess (either Aurora or Cinderella) were over on the other side of the restaurant.

In December 2008, if I recall, the characters were Goofy, Baloo, Chip, Dale, Jasmine and Aurora and Prince Phillip, and I think Pluto may have shown up right before we left.

In October 2008, I think the line-up was Goofy, Baloo, Chip, Dale and Belle, with Pluto at the entrance, and Snow White showed up just as we left.

In 2007, I am blanking out on who was there beyond Goofy, Chip, Dale, Baloo and Pluto, but I think Alice was there (she was lurking aorund on one of these visits), and possibly Aladdin.

In such a long history of Goofy's dining for me, all my visits tend to run together after a while, but I am pretty sure those are the characters we saw on the most recent breakfast visits!

We've always seen at least one princess (mostly Jasmine). Often it were two princesses, but sometimes instead of a princess a second female character was around. We met Alice twice last year, both times along with Jasmine - that was once for dinner and once for breakfast.

Besides Jasmine we've seen Mulan for dinner, along with Minnie.

Most recently (early Dec. late dinner) no princess - we did visit with Alice (who is always fun) and Minnie. The 1st time we had dinner there *our Sept. visit last year, Cinderella was there. Our 1st meal (3/09) there was a breakfast and again no princess that time but Alice was there.

We did dinner at Goofy's Dec 14th 09 - we saw: Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Baloo, Pip the Penguin, Alice, and Snow White.

So although there was only one 'princess' with Minnie and Alice too my daughter liked it.

Sunday January 10 dinner: Goofy (of course!), Chip and Dale, Minnie, Pluto, Belle, and Jasmine

While walking around that morning we saw Baloo through the window, but he was not at dinner.

When I went in April 2008, we saw Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale, Max, Cinderella, and Snow White.

I was there in November for breakfast and we saw Pluto, Goofy, Baloo, Chip, Jasmine and Aurora. Jasmine was so wonderful she really interacted so well with my daughter. They do such a great job. We also did Ariel's for lunch and it has it's points too, but I would do Goofy if I could only do one. I thought the food was good and the atmosphere felt less rushed and not like a big cattle call. I am sure they will be happy at either though- they know what kids love.

We were just there in Oct for dinner and had Goofy, Pluto, Chip, Dale, Mulan, Minnie and Cinderella.

And we were just there Friday morning for Breakfast and had Goofy, Pluto, Chip, Dale, Mulan, Cinderella & Baloo.

Yes! She wears her blue dress at Goofy's and saves the Princess (yellow) dress for Ariel's. I have photos of her in her blue dress in my TR (link below in signature) and there should also be photos of her in the blue dress at Goofy's in the Character Meal photo thread in the DL Community section of the board.
