Goofy's kitchen...characters, and photopass ?

Hello,

Just booked a breakfast next week at Goofys. Can someone tell me recent character sightings at this restaurant, and are there photopass people or d you only use your own camera?

We were there 2 week ago and we saw Chip, Dale, Goofy, Pluto, Belle, Alice and Baloo. I don't know about photopass because we didn't get any pictures. Although I didn't see any photographers around.

I saw all the same characters that kkmcan just mentioned seeing when I was there in early October, but they are not limited to just those. It seems to be a rotation, like certain characters are there during one period and others come in at different times of year, but you never know exactly who you will get. Sometimes the Mad Hatter will stroll in. Sometimes Gadget will come in. Sometimes you get Aladdin and Jasmine or Rafiki and Timon. We have seen Meeko there. The Beast and Jafar used to visit years ago.

When you arrive, they now have this thing where they shuffle you off to a photo opportunity with Pluto and make you take a picture! It used to be that you had the choice of whether or not to get in the photo, but now they make you! And of course, they print the picture and put it in a Goofy's paper frame and ask you to pay over $32 for it, and I THINK that they will load it onto a PhotoPass card once you buy it if you want them to. That is what I heard. However, I have heard of many folks just kindly asking the photgrapher to take a picture of them with Pluto with their own cameras. Of course, they will do it but they want you to buy their overpriced picture so they are not happy! I mean, the pictures do come out cute and all - they bring them to your table and tempt you with them - but $32 is not worth it to me just to get the Goofy's paper frame!

As far as photos at the table with other characters, I think they do have a PhotoPass option but you have to pay them right then and there. So unless you have money to spare, it makes more sense to just use your own camera when the characters drop by!

For the $32.00 pkg we got an 8X10 of Goofy, an 8X10 and 4 4X6 pictures of my daughter and Pluto in his Chef's hat. All in a nice folder. I was against this at 1st telling my sister "I'll let them take the picutre but I'm not buying it". But when I saw it I really liked it and I was on vacation so I bought it. We saw Chip and Dale, Jasmine, Goofy, Pluto, Cinderella was walking around but didn't come to our table. The food was GREAT.

When we were there a week and a half ago, we saw Prince Phillip, Baloo, Aladdin, Chip and Dale, and Goofy. I have seen Cinderella and Mulan in the past. It just is a toss up when you go. It seems like the staples are Chip and Dale, Goofy, and Pluto (greeting). The only photopass person is at the door when you come in. You use your own camera other than that. If you do buy the photopass package, you can have them add it to your photopass card so that you have access to it on the computer. They will only do that if you buy the package.

We went yesterday and saw Goofy, Pluto, Chip, Dale, Baloo, Peter Pan and Mulan.
We went later and it was great. A lot more character interaction time. At one point, Mulan took our DD by the hand and led her all over the restaurant. They ended up back up front with Baloo and Pluto and made cookies in the kitchen. My DH was chasing them with the video camera, so I got about 15 minutes to eat and relax. The food was great.
We were told they would not add the photo to the Photopass, and I wasn't willing to pay 32 bucks for the package. The photographer took a couple of pictures with our camera and they were just as good. By the way, their photos are just of the Kitchen scene and Pluto up front. They don't stroll through the restaurant.
It was a great experience and our daughter loved it. To excited to eat much though.

We bought the package of pictures they offered us at Lilo and Stitch in June. They also said they could put it on our photopass, and even took our card to do so. Only it never showed up on our photopass. So I'm thinking that they can't, I had heard on here in the pass that they didn't. But felt it was good to ask anyway!

We were at DLR Oct. 19-25 this year. We purchased pics at Lilo & Stitch and Ariel's Grotto. We asked at both places for the photos to be put on our Photopass card. It is amazing! The photos are there. Might I suggest that the person who took your card did not know what they were doing.

we were told to take our picture receipt (it has a number on it) to one of the places where you view your photopass pictures and they will add it to your photocard.
