Goofy's Kitchen Character Return?

I’ve had an alert set for 3 people reservation for around the 20-22nd but haven’t had anything pop up. Looking forward to some characters- we arent anywhere close enough for a frequent visit and it’s my 3.5yos first time going (plus I’ve heard the character situation at the parks is.. well.. *meh*). Don’t think they’ve released many reservations yet, so in the mean time I’ll losing my mind over it for the next week..

Is it just me or can others not imagine spending $60 for breakfast food? We are staying at DLH and I was going to book it - but I refuse to pay $60 each plus tip to eat what I can get at any dennys or ihop for $10! I thought it would be about 29,99-34.99 for breakfast, which is still a lot -but its Disney prices -but $60?? Can't justify that!

Yeah, character dining has always been high due to "unique" experience/staff. At least double normal sit down restaurants. I'm really curious to hear reviews after 9/16, if you're allowed to take pics with characters or do they quickly just walk by every table (since you can't get close to characters in the park).

I see reservations up to the 15th but nothing after. I am looking for dinner reservations on the 18th. Really hoping they open up.

I keep checking just because I’m curious. My trip is next week before the characters return. But... last week I was finding times for late Sept and all of Oct at Goofy’s, but only for 2 people. Any date and time I checked there were options. As soon as I changed it to 3 or more there was nothing. I speculated that it was an error. Now I can’t find any availability for any date after Sept 15, no matter how many people I indicated. This confirms at least in my mind that there was an error in times being loaded previously. On the other hand now I have no idea when they will start taking reservations.

k you I have never been to trader Sam’s and I got some for the night we get there! Won’t be going to the park but be a nice start.
