Goofy's Kitchen Breakfast

We had breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen on 5/2/14. What are the typical amount of characters you see at a breakfast? It was my first time, so I didn't know what to expect. We saw Pluto at entrance for photo op. Then inside, Alice, Chip & Dale came by our table. We saw Goofy, Baloo, and Mad Hatter walk by, but we had to call them over to our table, they were walking fast.

That's all we saw. Is that normal, or are there normally more?

Sounds like one of our typical experiences. Part of why we stopped going.

I'm not sure what time of morning you visited, but our last 2 visits we arrived around 11:30 and had great success with characters. Our first trip included: Goofy, Pluto, Chip, Dale, Mulan, Baloo, Rafiki and they all spent a lot of time with us (our son was very sad that Mulan had left and one of the servers called her back and she spent an extra 5 minutes just holding him and whispering in his ear, plus she gave him a big kiss on the check which he wore proudly all day). Our second trip was packed - Goofy, Pluto, Chip, Dale, Baloo, Rafiki, Alice, Mad Hatter - he was an absolute trip! They actually all came around twice and spent so much time with us. Pluto kept sneaking up behind me and giving me kisses, Alice made silly faces with the kiddos, and Baloo kept covering everyone's faces in pictures. Maybe we have just been lucky, but we have been very pleased with Goofy's.

We had a 7:00am reservation and was there until 8:30am or so. The ones that came by spent a decent amount of time with us, I just expected there to be more of them.

I have always found 5-7 characters at Goofy's to be typical. I didn't feel the interaction was that great the last couple of times we went, so we didn't bother anymore. I'm glad you had decent interaction. The character meal that is known for having tons of characters each visit is Plaza Inn. We may have seen as many as ten characters during one meal there before.

We were there same day and same time as you. We were happy with the character interaction, and thought 6 character was good. They were all great with our very shy DD5. We did have to chase Baloo as he showed up just when we were leaving the restaurant. Goofy and Pluto were really fun to interact with. MadHatter kept cracking jokes at our table, so did Alice, who tried her best to get my daughter to speak.

This is the one that we have gotten the fewest characters. We have gone 4 times, the first time we got 2 (Hook and Eyeore), the second we got 6, the third we got 3 and the last we got 2. We are done there.

We went in this past September: Baloo there and was hugging everyone, making fun of the guys. Then my sister went up to buffet and Baloo helped her pick out desserts. Raffiki was there, made a show out of picking nits out of people's heads and goofing around. Sleeping Beauty was there and did a great job, even with the boys. I thought my 5 year old nephew wouldn't be interested (he hasn't seen the movie either) but Beauty did a wonderful job. Chip & Dale were both there, as chefs, and goofed around. Pluto and Goofy were there as well, and all characters did multiple tours around each table. Granted, we went early. That's such a shame that others have had such experiences - I would be very disappointed as well.
