Groosch!
I had sum time...so I thought yer might like to see sum of my favorite pictures I took recently....mostly night shots with Holiday themeing, and a few others fer good measure!
I guess I was inspired by Dan's threads, Thelionkings & others....be'in that I'm a goofy photographeryer won't find these up teu their quality...but I hope you enjoy 'em!
Should any of the photos not load...try hitting the load or "refresh" button on yer browser
I've always enjoyed the "Dumbo's circus train" portion the MVMCP parade...
(Groosch! sawrey 'bout the flash Miss! )
Maybe I've liked it for the face characters & music..
But it's more likely, as Mrs. G Soooo often points out...I'm...
a clown at heart too
These guys have always had a special place in my heart...
as with so many things, Walt hit this one 'head on'...with the imagery from "Babes in Toyland" staring Laurel & Hardy ringing in my head...
Mrs. Claus is a right jolly elf in her own right!...
The sensational ending of the fireworks at MVMCP always brings a tear to me eye, a warmth in my heart, and a shiver down my spine....
Main Street USA is always special to me...but even more so on a night that MVMCP is held!
Never a frown on any faces in this crowd!
A wise person once told me to stop....and smell the roses...I've never forgotten that one of life's lessons...and it's never let me down...here is one of the hundreds of Holiday Window
displays you can find around the world this time of year...made entirely of Disney Pins (if I'm not mistaken)
another Wonderful Window..
The crowd was quiet in anticipation for "Celebrate The Season" stage show on the castle forecourt...
The show itself is as good as anything you'd ever see on Broadway...the talents of Disney Cast Members beam as bright as the star atop the tree!...
The Magic and Slendor of Main Street nearly Chirstmas is truely breathtaking...
Meanwhile...over on New York Street at the Disney-MGM Studios....a "freak" snow squal blew up!!
At the end of New York Street...the entrance of the Osborne Spectalce of Lights...
For those of you who may not have had the chance to see this...3-D glasses are passed out with some wonderous results!...seen here...is a shot of the Angels as I held the lens behind one side of my 3-D glasses..
Here's a view of the entrance area using a wide angle..
Something I hadn't noticed last year (if it was there)...was this "sign of the
times"....touching, and comforting...a not-so hidden American Mickey...
Another display of pride..
At one place along the route...a toy solider appeared!
Walking out of Disney-MGM Studios...the Chinese Threatre with the spot lights provided a consitent reminder of where we were!
At the entrace to Disney-MGM stood a tall and beautiful tree..high lighted by the spot lights so typically "Hollywood" in the dark night's sky...
Part II coming right up....
