I always see pictures and hear stories of the amazing and huge snacks at this place. Is there a certain location or are there many?

The main one is in the DTD marketplace.

But they do have other smaller sections of different stores with some of the same stuff in most of the parks and some of the resorts.

There are many places to purchase goofy candy. def dtd! i remeber seeing them at mouse gears in epcot...the beach club marketplace..the boardwalk gift shop and shops on main street..im sure you wont have a hard time fiding them...

The DTD Marketplace store is the one where you can have custom made candy. You choose from a menu and pick your item (apple, marshmallows, pretzel rods, giant Oreo, graham cracker, and I'm sure a few others I can't think of right now), then what to dip it in (caramel, several types of chocolate). You also pick different candies to sprinkle on top, and chocolate or caramel to drizzle on top.

Sugar laden goodness!! :goodvibes DD got the chocolate covered giant Oreo with just about every imaginable topping sprinkled over it- she was eating on that thing for 3 or 4 days!!

Prices are pretty reasonable, too- definitely less than $5 for any of the items.

In 4 trips to Disney World in the past 3 years I've missed the Goofy Candy shop in DTD every time. We are making it our mission in life to overload on sugar this trip - my husband is looking forward to it more than Mission Space which is to say a lot!

yes...they have a place at downtown disney......we went last year on our trip after xmas around new year and there was so much goodies...i did not know which kinds to pick lol...

This is a must do for my family, we all enjoy designing our own treats, and building a sippy cup is my dd favorite thing to do ...for 8.50 you can't beat it, alot of fun! We love this place, I could eat a ton of the prezel rods covered in chocolate and almond...hehehe:banana:

They sell regular pre-packaged Goofy brand candy in pretty much every store in Disney, but the candy store in DTD is the mecca. Design your own icees, snacks or pixie sticks and lots of fresh made chocolates you can buy by the piece.

Mickey rice crispie treat dipped in milk chocolate, covered in Butterfinger crumbles (and I mean covered), and a caramel drizzle =

We've done the pretzel rods and just recently the rice krispie treat (we're still eating it!). If you're on the DP, you can use a snack credit for anything $4 or less so we always do a creation there for a snack credit.

We make a point of stopping in Down town Disney at the Candy Shop, it has quickly become a family tradition. You get a clip board and get to create your own rice krispie, marshmallow, apples, pretzel, and oreo cookies. You can add anything from chocolate and carmel to nuts sprinles and reese. The sizes are huge and the cost is reasonable. They also offer a great slush factory for kids. You buy the differnet cups and get to choice from a various slush flavor. The cups run about $12.oo but they aren't your everyday cups. The kids(or adults) get to choice a cup then pick feet and a hat. Needless to say we love this stop and are always looking froward to filling our sweet tooth.
