On Nov 12, my BF Bob and I arrived at All Star Sports to begin our magical week. We arrived about noonish, and made a beeline for the food court because we were starving! I phoned home to say I arrived ok. I had no clue about the plane crash that happened that day, my family told me when I called. We all were reminded about how scary the world is, and I was even more glad to be in a fantasy world to escape into from 11/12 to 11/16.

We then went to Epcot. Boy do I love this park! It felt a little odd to be having my bags checked at the enterance, but thats ok. I love Spaceship Earth , thats my favorite. Test Track is awesome too. We also saw Honey I Shrunk the Audience- very funny!! During the week, we ate in France, Japan , Germany and Norway! Norway has a good buffet and beautiful desserts! I love it. Yummy! I also like Norway's viking ship ride.

I also saw Tapestry of Dreams 3 times, and Illuminations 3 times. Illuminations still mesmerizes me! In fact I know it so well , that when Disney made a mistake with it, I noticed. The was one time that the music and fireworks werent in sync, and the torch inside the globe didnt light up at the end. Oh well, the Mouse is only "human"! LOL :)

Also in Epcot, I like that Coke exhibit with samples of soda from around the globe. BUT what is up with the drink from Italy?? Blecch! Its SO bitter! The others werent too bad :)

We also sent an ecard to our freinds from Epcot Innovations. Here's the link to it:

Every night, we would end our day by having pina coladas at the bar in All Star Sports. They are GOOD coladas! I highly recommend them.

Stay tuned for more........

favorites and also test track.......I liked the coke product that tasted like apple cider......and a few of them were putred......thanks for the laugh.......can hardly wait for the next installment

Hubby and I were at Disneyworld for 4 days last January, and we, too, loved the buffet in Norway. We had made a reservation but didn't need it as it wasn't busy at all. We had a table for two up front in the little "turret room" and at one point we were completely by ourselves in there! We loved all the different foods, especially the caramel goat cheese....yum!! :D

Great report! I loved the pic of you and your BF, very cute! :) My boyfriend and I love Epcot too, especially Illuminations. Where do you like to watch it? We like Germany, ourselves.

We watched it from around the England/Canada area :)

I also was very surprised that I liked the goat cheese. It tastes a lot better than it looks! LOL

I could not imagine watching the Epcot performances with anyone more excited than you, GG. I bet it was wonderful. Glad you and Bob were able to experience together. :sunny:

Sounds like you had a wonderful first day. Thanks for posting this.

Looks like you guys were having a great time. I'm glad you made it down safely. :)

Just want to add something about Spaceship Earth: I was told that there is a hidden Mickey in the stars. I went on the ride twice and STILL couldnt find it! WHERE the heck is it? Anyone know?
