So I am doing the goofy.....I am following John Bingham's Walk/Run marathon Program, except I am cutting out the Thursday run and completing half of Saturday's distance on Friday. I hope that makes sense. Anyways....there are a few cut back weeks where The long run on Saturday is 8 miles and the run on Friday is 4 miles. My question is : Would it be safe to skip my 4 mile on Friday and do a half on Saturday one of these weekends? Essentially it would be about the same mileage, but I just wanted to see what everyone thought.
