Hi guys...no stressing over Goofy! It's completely possible to have a GREAT time running both races
. My training plan was lighter on miles and heavy on cross training and core work (I've battled injury the past few years and can't handle the heavy mileage). I was fortunate to be able to make up for less miles by adding the XT and pilates/yoga. Just don't be afraid of the training, just find something that works for you and the type of runner/walker that you are
. I finished Goofy feeling great...went out dancing until all hours the night after....and never regretted taking on the challenge. Trust with others like Cecilia and Robert say...don't be afraid of the challenge...and definitely enjoy the ride!

Very cool that you offered to share it!!
If you want to do the goofy I would sign up real soon. I know the feeling of training alone. Sometimes I wish I had someone there with me to run with, but it's also nice to clear your mind and just enjoy some me time you know?
