Hello

I know it is best to say that the make your own treats are not on the free DDP as a snack credit.

It is our first time and I love the look of them.

Any idea how much they cost??? :goodvibes

We were just there in January, and I *think* the pretzel rods were under $4. Well worth paying OOP.

This is from the main site:

Apple - $5.50

Rice Krispie Treat - $3.00

3 Pretzel Rods - $3.50

4 Marshmallows - $2.50

Gingerbread Cookies - $3.50

I know the items are right just not sure if the prices are still the same.

Oh thank you for that ............ not as expensive as I thought they would be :goodvibes

Is that just for example the gingerbread cookie or do you get the chocolate and toppings etc with it within the cost?

It is a $1-$1.50 more for all of the toppings, but that includes a "dip" in chocolate (and it's a generous "dip!), another dip in a topping (again, very generous dip!), and a drizzle on top of that.

I thought these were included in your snack credits...is this a change?

There are recent reports (starting last August) varying from only a cookie, marshmallows or two pretzel rods with one dip and one topping can be had for snack credits, to reports from Jan/Feb 2010 that NONE of the make your own items are available as a snack credit. There are also reports that one CM will tell people they can get certain items as snack credits, and when the customer gets to the cashier they are told that they can't use snack credits. So we can't make any determination at this point on the boards about what, if anything, you can get at the make your own counter at Goofy's for a DDP snack credit.

Hi
I always read on here that you can get 3 pretzel rods dipped and coated the way you want for 1 snack credit. When I went to order them, the CM told me it was only 1 pretzel rod. I told her that was ridiculous to use a snack credit for 1 rod, and she agreed. We ended up getting a rice crispy mickey head instead. I guess it depends on the CM.

It used to be 3 pretzel rod dipped, coated and drizzled in different ways even but not any more :( At least we were there last June and it was still one snack credit

There is not a charge for the dip and the topping. There is a charge if you want MORE than one topping. Goofy's is not charging $3.50 for 3 plain pretzel rods.

That's too bad, we were there for Spring Break last year and could still use a snack credit at Goofy's. The marshmallows were great because they came with a plastic mickey straw poked through them...we gave them to our cousins as little gifts when we got home.

Total bummer...thanks for the info. We got them in December 2008 and it was awesome way to use up snack credits! Guess I'll have to find out for myself in October!

When we were there this past Dec '09, the only make you own was one pretzel rod with dip-no toppings, and I don't think much else. But you could still get dipped pretzel rods, and the marshmellows with the mickey straws, and dipped fudge cookies from the already made display case, along with about 10 different types of fudge, different types of brownies, rice crispy blocks. This was just as good, if not better then the make you own. Goofy's is still a must do on our touring plan, when we go back in Aug on a free dining PIN and after the PODcast cruise 2.0 on the Wonder in Dec, we're staying 3 days at the parks, and making a trip to Goofy's :thumbsup2

I discovered last January that the pretzel rods are worth the $3.50. I had three dipped in dark chocolate, rolled in Reeces Peanut butter Cups and drizzled in white chocolate. I think I’m in love.

I can’t help you about snack credits or the Dining Plan… I never use it. But I do recommend the pretzels.

In Dec we could not get a coated Mickey head as a snack credit. I usually get the one coated with chocolate and peanut butter cups and even though I have to pay it is a really good deal. It lasts me a couple of days.
