Stupid, stupid, stupid!

I have been griping about codes for weeks, so today as I was making a PS I asked if I could get a quote on a ten night package, so the CM transferred me to reservations. While the reservations CM was looking this info. up, I asked if she happened to see any codes attached to my name. She asked about my address; then, I mentioned my 911 physical address which is not my normal mailing address (a P.O. box). She said, "Oh, you do have a pin number; it is under this other address." Mind you, I had called a month ago about codes and had none (or none at the address that popped up.)

She said to wait to see if it had expired.....my heart was pounding....it had NOT! But, my first choice of CBR had NO rooms available for codes for the first of June--none, b/c we spent some time switching dates around to check to see if availabilities popped up. Only moderates available were CSR and POR. I don't know much about either of these, so I went with POR. (FYI, WL, AKL, CT, Poly, CSR, POR--all were available, but not CBR..strange, right?)

So, anyway, so that someone might benefit from my stupidity, I am telling my story: Give them every address that has ever been attached to you!

I do wish CBR was available (and if anyone with a pin code is canceling starting June 2, please, please let me know )

I hope that we will be happy at POR, but how dare I complain or be a bit disappointed when I got some kind of code when everyone is so tense?
I know how everyone feels...I've been agonizing for weeks, too, and all this time I've had a code ticking away.

If you have your heart set on CBR keep checking back and it might become available. Many of times my first choice hasn't been available and I just call back every day and usually it opens up.

Thanks, Avalanche, for understanding. Do you know if they release open rooms at a particular time or day of the week? In other words, do they clear out their computers at a certain time?

It seems like I remember a CM telling me that they get updated computers every morning. I had a similar situation happen to me and I kept calling and added days here and there until I got the full 8 days at one resort, I had to have 2 days with a pool view, one day standard, then 3 days with a savanah view and so forth, by the time I went, I had them all together in one room with a great view! Takes a bit more time but well worth it!! Good luck!!
