I was reading somewhere the other day, where people were talking about a good nite kiss that takes place about 45 mins after the MK fireworks... they were saying it was touching, making them cry etc...
Can anyone tell me what it is exactly.. is it worth having my little ones hang out for?
And you can see it from anywhere on main street?
thanks guys!

Mickey stands on the train station platform and waves goodbye to everyone leaving Magic Kingdom. He says good night, thanks for coming, etc. He does it for about 30 minutes. It's not a character greeting at all. Just waves goodbye from high above you. That's it.

That is so cool! I never knew that happened. Of course, having little ones, I cannot image being at the park that late.LOL

I told some friends to stay and watch this. I haven't seen Mickey wave, but I heard a piped in voice telling a little bit about Walts dream and also the castle turns colors along with some wonderful music. Well worth hanging around an extra half hour. When it's over the crowds are gone and you can stroll out of the park.

The Kiss Goodnight, as seen in the video above, is really a very simple, but such a magical moment, for Disney nuts. A 'regular' person, LOL, would not get much from it. I love it. Have waited around quite a number of times for it. Aout 45 minutes or so after the fireworks, while you are sitting in the Hub area, the voices play, some music plays, the Castle changes many colors you are thanked and it is over. So simple, but so magical in its simplicity. It is not done every night, but most. The Kiss Goodnight is not done at the Train Station.

Thanks Debs5angels for the link! That was great ! I will be sure to hang around next week to try and catch this! Sure to bring a tear to this Disney freak's eyes!!

Well, just watching that little video of it made me tear up.

Cant wait to go see it in two and 1/2 weeks!

Where do you watch it from? The front of the castle from Main street or the from the back?

Thanks

oh, man, why did I watch that?! Now I'm all teary too!

Awww...That was beautiful! I had tears streaming down my face and everything--I'm such a mush!

I've sat with a good number of DIS'ers there in the Hub, many with tears (me too :o) :)
