While I will agree with most that the Stitch wake up call is annoying I hope that they don't change the wake up to "real life" character instead of a cartoon character. I love the look in my young niece's eyes when she hears the cartoon voice waking her up. I don't think it would be as special for her if it was a charcter that appealed more to adults
Am I the only one who is getting a little sick, and a bit uneasy about Disney being taken over by current/trendy/popular movie icons. Don't get me wrong. I love POTC, and I actually enjoyed Lilo and Stitch, but it seems like recently, these sorts of characters are absolutely everywhere, and they've only been around for a very short time. Geez, Disney changed a ride that had remained largely unaltered for decades based on the success of a film franchise that is barely a few years old, and has yet to stand the test of time.
I know Disney is as much about nostalga as it is about remaining current and update on what is popular, trendy and cutting edge. But call me old fashioned, or call me a traditionalist, but I feel like Mickey, Donald and the rest of the gang are having to take back seat to a cast of characters which have barely been around long enough to truly make any significant, lasting mark in the Disney family of characters.
Yeah! Forget about sleeping overnight in the castle. The Make Your Dream Come True should promise a personal wake up by Captain Jack. OK, maybe Cpt. Jack can wake me up IN the castle....ahhhhhh!!!!
I h eard on one of the podcasts (can't remember if it was Mousetunes, or Inside The Magic) that theSticth nonsense on the monorail will soon be replaced by the voice of Capt. jack Sparrow!! *Swoon* As if I didn't LOVE the monorail enough ehehheeee!
Any chance they'll get ride of Stitch's wake-up call and replace it with Jack:
Me too, i love Captain Jack Sparrow...hes so sexy ....my DH dont like him of course...he says im crazy because i love a man that doesnt even take a shower... jajajajajaja hes jealous of a pirate
I think they should have options for the wake-up calls.
I personally wouldn't be happy at all if they had Captain Jack Sparrow doing wake-up calls because my kids have no idea who he is. The movie is PG-13 and therefore my kids haven't been allowed to watch it.
Disclaimer: This is not to say that other people shouldn't have allowed there children under 13 to watch this movie.
