I think that I'm one of the few that's disappointed...that these Starbucks additions won't be done by my next trip in January.

Personally, I'm a fan of Starbucks and Disney...so the blending off both is just more convenient than ever. I've had the pleasure of checking out the Fiddler, Fifer & Practical cafe many a time at Disney California Adventure and have enjoyed the classic frappucinos other Starbuck locations have offered for years. If FF&P is a preview of what is to come to WDW, I'm excited for what is to come!
While I understand that the Main Street Bakery is a pilgrimage that is part of many other guests' vacations, we must realize that there are alternatives just a little bit further down the turn of the century street we all know. It just may be a little more of a walk, but if your heart is so set on something, you must be willing to go the distance to reach your Main Street Bakery favorites. Otherwise, you need to face the reality that these changes are going to happen with out you being a patron.
I've made many posts on other threads about people complaining about the past disappearing at their favorite Disney locations both on the east and west coasts. If we all had this mentality, there would be no progress. Many people have their arguments that the Sbux brand won't fit into the story that is Main Street U.S.A. ...Disney knows what they'e doing.
I can't help but laugh at those who worry about branding inside a Disney park. Disney may be making the big bucks, but with all those sponsors it has for its restaurants and attractions, so can we really point out and act as if this was a first? It's not like they'd be projecting the Stabucks logo on Cinderella's castle like the Siemens logo is on Spaceship Earth after Illuminations. If all companies ran this way, we wouldn't be seeing that Disney merchandise people purchase at their local
WalMart/Target before a trip.
This thread is fn and exciting to read, especially those who are saying they'll miss they're favorite things of yesteryear even though it's just an "adjustment" in reality. I'm looking forward to what develops with this thread.
In a very passive agressive way, I'll just leave saying "grown ups should be able to handle change."
