at least for our trip to the world next Feb. They want about $190 roundtrip from JFK to MCO which normally is fine, but I went to Expedia (sings) .com and they have a flight on delta nonstop, roundtrip for $140 per person. Then I went directly to the Delta website and found flights for $135.20 per person:earseek: so it looks like I will be cheating on JetBlue for our trip in Feb!!

You know, I have to tell you ... for $55 savings round trip ... I'd still take JetBlue over Delta! The TVs alone are $55 worth of pleasure! But that's just me, flying for one. I suppose with a group that starts to add up. JetBlue, the airline that sets the standard for all others, amen.

There's 4 of us going actually so that's a pretty good savings and I hear Delta Song which is Delta's affiliate which is what we will be actually flying has t.v's too but I'm not sure. We are bringing our portable dvd player anyway so we will have something to do.

It is actually Song operated by Delta and yes, they do have TV. I don't think they have as many channels as JetBlue but its enough to keep you busy for the flight. They also have a music trivia game that you can play against other passengers.

The only thing that I don't like is they don't give you any snacks, JetBlue gives you choices of many. I also don't like their seats, they seem to be very smooshed compared to JetBlue.

However, given the price difference, I have to admit that I've cheated on JetBlue as well!

Oh I've been on Song a bunch of times, if you call them, they'll tell you whether the plane you'll be on has TVs yet. Some have had the upgrade/installation, some haven't. In case you're curious :)

Delta's Song has the TV's. Even if they didn't though $55 a person is a lot to pay extra just so you can watch TV. The Song flights are very nice.

I believe all of Songs planes have the tvs now. And that trivia game is addictive. I actually came in 1st once...but it wasnt the round they were giving away the candy bar to the winner. :( ;)

trivia game? Sounds like fun. How does it work playing against other passengers?

You sign in on your screen. It will enter you where ever they are in the game so you may get in on question number 7 or whatever. Each round is 20 multiple choice questions and you you plug in your choice, a, b, c, or d. If you get it right you get points, the quicker you answer the more points you get. Basically it adds up how many points you have earned and ranks you against the other players. It will show who else got that question right(how many points they got that time) and it shows the top 10 ranked, along with their seat #. If you are ranked lower that 10 if will let you know where you rank. I found this was wonderful for someone like myself who hates flying. You really get into it and it takes your mind off it.

I wish JETBLUE was here in Chicago...they'd have more business than they'd know what to do with!

Another big Song fan here, especially the trivia game. We're flying them 2 weeks from tomorrow, and I can't wait.

Do not like SONG or JETBLUE. Stopped flying them long time ago. Why? Noisy, unprofessional, tacky, lack of service. I was once on a 6am SONG flight and the flight attendent made everyone sing along on the plane the whole trip. If it's 5pm, OK. But at 6am? Everyone just wanted to get some sleep. Kids ended up screaming and adults were just gruchy when they got to Orlando.

And another time on JetBlue, the attendants just continuously chatted and flirted with some college kids, while a mother needs help calming her kids. Finally another passenger stood up, walked to the booth and got some milk for the lady.

I don't like to fly where the staff is noisier than the passengers.

I totally agree!! Southwest flys out of an airport 15 minutes from my house but I would never fly them mainly since they won't assign seats.. I go 35 minutes in the other direction to fly JetBlue out of JFK. I have flown Jet Blue a few times now and am flying again next Saturday on Jet Blue...I love their seats, tv's and service. I wrote a letter to the company after my last flight complimenting them on the flight crew, they were so nice and professional it was a pleasant change from other airlines i have flown! The flight attendants were so attentive to my 4 year old it was great!

I have never had the chance to fly on JetBlue or Song but I can tell you that I can not STAND flying Southwest. I feel like CATTLE when they board in "groups". Blech...

I fly Delta 8 to 10 times a month and am used to their service. Love the small commuter jets in their fleet and the huge 777s I have to take across the country.

The 777's in Delta's fleet are awesome. :teeth:
