I really hope he gets to keep Eddie Bear as that was his Father's nickname for him ... he passed away a year ago. He probably would get a kick out Ed calling himself Shiny Pink Glitter Bear though. Especially the PINK part, as he was all male.

Sorry this happened to you. I had it happen to me too and many others here on the Dis. After 6 months of having the name AuntieJulie on vmk they made me change it. I was told it was because of the Auntie part as it revealed to much about me and that we aren't supposed to have any reference to family relationships in our names.

I wrote in letter after letter asking why then do i see others with relationship references in their titles. There is still a Community Leader with the name "dad" in his vmk title and a huge amount of people with personal names in their titles and so forth. I listed about 8 different examples of each. I only got the form letter back every time i wrote so i gave up and decided to just accept it and get used to my new name.

i asked a host about it in a host game and she gave me the answer that the system isn't perfect, which is true and this helped me go on and forget about it.

I'm still pretty annoyed with this. My name was changed THREE TIMES. TWO TIMES I went to HOST_Hula and asked her if she would help me get it back. The third time it happened, I asked HOST_Lily first. Was that a mistake? Lily and Hula said they would help MONTHS ago.

So Shabbat is now gone.

And who do I see in the pirates lobby? Oh, a guy named Christmas.

I've had my second character with Terribear since September 05. Of course, I have been expecting to someday have that popup that I need to change my name.
