hello does anyone have any direct links to some DVC room tours? I’m trying to search through YouTube and it’s just a lot to fish through and some of the videos they just talk a whole lot and I don’t really need that. There’s just a couple rooms I have yet to see in person - this would include rooms at VGG, Poly ( the resort room not interested in bungalow) and BW. I have been in AKL, BC, and SS. Thanks for your help!

Have you checked David’s rental ?? In the menu, in information section, they have Room previews/virtual tour which was quite helpful for us to decide. No talking and you can go in every room and check out virtually.
Hope this helps.

The YouTube channel here with the ears has the most comprehensive list of DVC villas. They do talk a lot in the videos, particularly about all the hidden mickeys in each room. If you can get over that, they’ll probably have what you’re looking for.
I was about to say the same thing. Their room tours are usually just that, a tour of the room. They point out where all the outlets are, pull down the pull downs if there are any, etc. Yes, they point out the hidden mickeys but that is just about the only non-room tour information they give.

Her videos are pretty bad, there’s no actual room tours and she bases her best/worst off of info from touring plans and other sites meaning she hasn’t stayed in many of these rooms herself.
Agreed! I started watching one of her videos and she’s talking about rooms and showing the TP room finder tool, not actual rooms, then she says she’s never actually stayed in them! Stopped that video. I found Magic in the Music and I liked them, big reason is because they actually showed the room number when doing the tour. And not silly and the room wasn’t already cluttered with their belongings.

Another vote for Here with the Ears! They have the most comprehensive collection I've found and the camera work is on point without a lot of unnecessary chit chat. I'll also mention that DVCfan.com has a growing list of virtual tours with a Matterport camera that are really great.

We started skimming through their videos for the parts where they point out all the Hidden Mickeys, just for a giggle. Wonder if anyone has pointed out to them that the whole fun of Hidden Mickey's is for people to discover them on their own?

That and we used to joke that he makes her stay out in the hallway as you never see her after the open (we know it's because she follows him through the room, opening all the beds).

Having said that, they do have a very comprehensive collection of videos, although their year at Disney is now 2 years old and resorts are getting renovated at a quicker pace now, so some are outdated. It's funny how current owners prefer the videos with no talking. We especially like 4KWDW for just general resort and theme park walkarounds because he NEVER talks...LOL

Magic in the Music does a good job explaining costs per point on direct v. resale and per resort, too.
I subscribed to it! Hey question- so far most that I’ve read on here or been told is a june UY would be great for August OR Nov/ Dec travel. However- dvc resale site says this “an October “Use Year” for someone that consistently travels in November would be ideal because if they cancel that November trip within 30 days of checking in they still have until October 1st of the following year to use those points.”
Should I ask in here in the forum what makes better sense? I was printing out June UY resale listings only, but now I don’t know
