Good wishes, prayers (if you do) for ALL involved in Iraq/Middle East 'stuff'

I know the banter has been heavy here on the DIS over the past many months, same as it has been around the world, both sides, or all the sides, if there are more than two, (and there probably are more than two sides, confusing as it can get). This side said this, we should have done that, we should not have done that, they did it first, we are right, you are wrong, they are right, we are wrong, we ridiculed, you beheaded, you had a bad regime, we dropped a bomb in the wrong place, you killed our soldiers, you killed our family, you used gas, we used high tech, you are the wrong religion, we are the right one, no, we are wrong, you are right, we have support, we don't have support, we caught him, why can't we catch him, it's their country, we are the world's policemen, we are here to help, no you are not, and so on and so on and so on...........

In the days ahead, the coalition is turning some semblance of power, (maybe only for show, I have no idea, don't really care at the moment), but it is predicted there will be even more violence, bloodshed, what have you. Could we, as a group, maybe for this one thread, be united, and wish EVERYONE involved, regardless what side, what belief (we are all part of the same race after all, the Human one) safe-keeping, good will? I wish for a settlement, a good one for all. And until it is, could we just wish our fellow countrymen, and those who we defend, and those we fight, good will, safety, God speed (if you believe in God), or just plain safety, eventual friendship?

Sometimes I just ignore what's going on because it just makes me sad or angry . Thanks for reminding me to look at each person involved as an individual fellow human being. I will try to be more prayerful for all involved.
