Good wedding favors?

Just thought of something else. I hear a lot of people having photo booths at weddings now. Everyone got to take their pics home. Those booths are always fun!

We went to my nieces wedding last weekend and she did not have a photobooth but she did have a photographer set up to take pics of anyone who wanted. They had a video camera set up and connected to a printer. The photographer took the pic and instantly printed the photo in black and white and they put the photo on a magnetic paper and made instant fridge magnets - it was pretty cool. Everyone was going to get their pics taken during the night. They turned out pretty nice.

I made a candy bar wrapper for my wedding 10 years ago & then for my sisters wedding a few years ago.

For mine, I took a picture of my brick with my wedding date & new name on it (yes I got it before I got married) & used that as the front & wrote some stuff on the back.

For my sisters, I was more computer literate at that point & was able to change the pictures both to b&w, flip a picture, delete parts of a picture, etc... And she loved it, phew!

I have also been to a wedding with chocolate dipped plastic spoons. I had tea at the wedding so the spoon never left the reception.

My friend had a photobooth at her wedding last year and she got some really scandalous pictures back from the photographer. Like, in-your-face-body-parts scandalous.

We are having a caricature artist at our wedding... I had no idea what to do for favors and that idea just kind of fell in our lap

My cousin and her dh are avid bicyclists. Their wedding favors were fairly large chocolate bars imprinted with bicycles.. very cute and quite tasty. The bars were done by a local chocolatier. I think this was my favorite wedding favor I had ever been given.

My daughter did imprinted colorful Martini glasses.. as they had signature cocktails at the reception. They were delightful... however some were not taken home by guests. :confused3

I like the Jameson bottles idea too... cause I do enjoy me some Jamesons!:thumbsup2

Is your cousin named Anne? ;) My cousin and her DH did the same thing for their wedding except that they met through a bicycling club.

My niece and her dh did koozies in their colors. What was really neat is that they used them to hold the silver ware and napkin at each place. Another friend did little bottle of sand and seashells since their wedding was on the beach.

Our friends did Yankee Candle votives - "wedding day" scent with a label with their names/dates.
