Moleskin is very important. Also, you may want to bring some Band Aid blister bandages. If you do get a blister they are life saving.
I love my Keens, and I haven't had any trouble with rubbing or blisters. I've used the same pair for a week at Disney and a week in NYC, plus I wear them all the time at home.
I've found Skechers is the best for me. I'm not small either and I don't know if my shin splints were from being heavy or not having the best shoes for me.
I wear these with no socks and they get wet and dry nicely. Its like a much more comfortable of a water shoe to me.

also have these if I'm not going to get wet

And I have these flip flops.

All of them are amazing and after a full day at Disney (rope drop to kiss goodnight) I have no pains or soreness.
Thanks for the links! I'm following along as well but the recommendations without links are not very helpful as many brands offer a variety of sandals or flip flops![]()
Do you wear the Athletic style? I'm checking all of these shoe recommendations out on Amazon.
What I've found works best for me is to bring several different pairs of shoes/sandals and swap them out every day. For summer I have a couple of pair of Sketchers and Tevas. I prefer them because they can get wet. I also use Body Glide on the bottoms of my feet, between my toes and on my heels. Since I started doing that I haven't had any issues with my feet bothering me at all.
The Keens are so cute! Do either of you find an issue with rubbing and blisters? I'm worried because of the two times I thought Crocs sandals were a good idea and my poor feet were blistered from the rubbing.
Sorry in advance if this has been asked a hundred times.
I'm not on the lighter side and Disney is always brutal on my feet. I've got a comfortable pair of Nike walking shoes but I know in August I'll be dealing with my shoes and feet getting wet. I often see flip-flops and sandals recommended here but I'm worried they won't have enough support for me.
Any larger ladies have a brand or specific shoe that they love/recommend for Disney?
