We are making our reservation for June 04 at BCV and want to know if we should make any view requests? Anyone have any suggestions? Which level is the best? Thanks

you need to see Sandy's list

I like Epcot view - Future World - high as possible - I got 561 which I dearly loved - this is a studio,

great view of Spaceship Earth

Here is a good link to a great map:

In the Epcot view category, rooms 540-552 (even) have great direct views of SSE but indirect views of Illuminations. This is the lowest arm of the green region in the map. Rooms 553-563 (odd) are the central arm of the green region, and have more direct views of Illuminations but less direct views of SSE. The upper arm of the green region is only 4 floors high but includes odd numbered rooms through 477; the views should be similar to 540-552.

I prefer the pool view, it is just like the postcards! I may be in the minority, but I do not care for the noise from the road and the beeping of the trucks backing up to the land. So when we stay there, we ask for a pool view. It is quite nice there.

Have fun wherever you end up!

Just remember, the term "good" for a view is extremely subjective. I'd love to try the pool view, haven't yet. But I had #461(just below spiceycat's) and found the service road somewhat annoying. Last year I was in #339, woods/wetland view and I loved it. Guess differeces of opinion keeps everyone from fighting over the same location!

Here is a link with some room reports and it will give you some view comments. http://members.aol.com/InstImpres/beachclub.pdf
This will give you an idea of “sectional views”. It is extremely difficult to ask for a specific room (as well as trying on the CM’s). With the new room ready policy, guests have reported getting several choices at check-in and this may than help

The file is in adobe acrobat and which can be downloaded from this site for free:

Happy travels
Sandy

P.S. Check back to this link before you leave, I update it once or twice a month, though currently I'm overdue for an update.

We were just there over Christmas, and had room 258. This is a 1 beedroom lock-off right by the pool elevator. It is a pool view, and was a great location. I had asked for an EPOCT view, but when I check in, this one was ready so I took it. If you want a pool view, this is a great location.

OK, you people pushed my button again.

The road that you hear noise from is Epcot Resorts Boulevard. It is not a service road, it's the same road you used to get to Beach Club. It continues around behind BCV, through a tunnel under the Epcot canal, and on to Boardwalk. In my experience (fifth floor) there is very little noise unless you open your balcony door, in which case it is quite noticeable.

There are also Epcot service roads on the other side of the ravine, but for the most part they are not visible and it's unusual to hear any significant noise from them. There could be more noise associated with the construction of the Soarin' Over California attraction, but I didn't notice any last month.

We just returned from romm#455....oh my what a great studio, its on the corner so our balcony was HUGE, about 3 times the size of all others. We could see SSE perfectly and see most of the fireworks great , but the 5th floor would have been better, the road noise is there but the view makes up for it. I loved BCV, its so great..location,location and location!!!:D

We had a top floor view of the Dunes Cove pool in July of 2002, the week BCV opened.

It was a great view and we loved it. :earsboy:

I don't think it is a noisy issue - but a look issue - some people get upset when they realize that a Epcot view is looking at the back side of some of the pavillions - silly - I mean BCV was definitely an add on - the service road has traffic early in the morning and late at night - I don't think noise can be problem - I mean hey nothing is more noisey than Illiuinations - very loud, very noisy...

but some people except to look out their windows and see eautiful - just depends upon what you call beauty....
